Impact Circles

1.2 million refugees reached Germany with the hope of finding a new home. The problem was that many of them were home sick. Social Impact GmbH with the aid of funding from the GIZ came up with the proposal of StartHope@ Home.

This program provided business coaching that enabled individuals to design a new opportunity for their lives back in their home countries. Business coaches (including Maha Alusi), government officials, social workers, and managers (including Mohammad Dahy and Azal Al-Salafi), worked together to empower thousands of returnees to step foot in their country of origin with a new perspective and financial support. This included people from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, and multiple countries in Africa that brought to their hometowns a new link to the cultures.
Since 2018, the new opportunity of this program is designing the potential of the connection we have to those people. To further enable a global community to reach together to create opportunities to the challenges of time. (Source: Social Impact gGmbH)
